Clinical Research Fellowship in Pediatric Nutrition and Gastroenterology

Clinical fellowships * are offered to post-graduate health care professionals from developing countries working in the field of pediatric nutrition and gastroenterology. Fellowships are available in the leading partner institutions listed below. Duration of the training ranges from 12 to a maximum of 24 months. Applications have to be addressed directly to the training sites. The training sites submit the applications from selected candidates to the NNI. The NNI external Board of Advisors evaluates the applications and makes a decision for acceptance.

After completion of their training, candidates return to their home country to put in practice the knowledge gained and help to improve healthcare locally.

The 2 years program’s objective is to train pediatricians in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of intestinal, liver and pancreatic diseases in children as well as pediatric nutrition.
Training comprises both clinical and scientific research components. Training language is French.

The fellowship program course in pediatric gastroenterology is for 12-24 months and is available to non-Australian trained doctors and is designed for trainees who have successfully completed general pediatric training in their country of origin to a suitable level. This position will be appropriate for trainees wishing to pursue a clinical practice, which includes paediatric gastroenterology.
