The UQAM Foundation offers more than 1,000 undergraduate and graduate scholarships annually. They are presented each year thanks to the generosity of members of the university community, private companies and foundations, as well as graduates and friends of UQAM. As part of the 2019-2020 academic year (2019 summer semester), the foundation offers several Tuition and Housing Exemption Scholarships for students wishing to pursue a master’s, doctoral or degree program. SPECIFICITY OF THE STOCK EXCHANGE:
This is a scholarship for tuition and housing waivers with a lump sum monthly allowance. The tickets for the return flight (Country of origin – Canada / Quebec) are therefore supported by the candidate himself. UQAM intends to facilitate immigration to those who wish to study and obtain Canadian state diplomas. The candidates selected after the selection of candidates will be included in addition to their study in sensitive areas of economic and social life of Canada (health, law, diplomacy, communication, finance, energy, industry, transport, agriculture …). This option from the University is intended to give fellows a professional ability to work if they wish to do so in Canada at the end of their training.
DURATION OF THE STOCK EXCHANGE:
The scholarships cover the period of a training cycle or a maximum of six (06) semesters non-renewable.
CONDITIONS PRECEDENT TO CANDIDATURE :
As a general rule, Canadian foreign exchange applicants must: – Have a Bachelor, Master or PhD level – To be between 18 and 50 years old ; – Understand and speak correctly one of the languages of instruction in Canada ( English , French, Spanish, German , Italian);
